Launching his career from a small dealership in Kent, Peter is now recognised as a leader in the second-hand car industry.
He is best known for two significant companies: Big Motoring World and Big Transport Kent.
Big Motoring World Group
Big Motoring World is one of the UK’s largest car supermarkets.
Established by Peter in 1986, Big Motoring World has evolved from a home-grown business with 20 vehicles to a nationally recognised car supermarket with more than 3,500 vehicles across several sites in the UK.
Big Motoring World has been crowned Car Supermarket of the Year numerous occasions and is also rated as a UK Motor Trader Top 10 Dealer.
Big Transport Kent/AE Chilled
AE Chilled is the UK’s leading chilled distribution company. Established in 2015, the company operates a fleet of more than 70 heavy good vehicles (HGV) and trailers from its hub in Kent.
The company holds a variety of contracts with leading retailers across the UK, and specialises in ambient, chilled and frozen goods, as well as consolidation and cross docking service.
Big Transport Kent, Peter’s holding transport company, acquired AE Chilled in April 2024.
