Peter Waddell Reaffirms 63% Ownership as Freshstream Dispute Continues

Peter Waddell would like to clarify recent public discussion surrounding his role at Big Motoring World and his ongoing situation with minority investor Freshstream.

Peter remains the majority owner, retaining 63% of Big Motoring World, and continues to be fully committed to the long-term success of the business. Despite recent corporate challenges and legal matters, his position as the company’s founder and primary shareholder remains unchanged.

A dispute between Peter and Freshstream is currently progressing through the High Court. Peter has stated that Freshstream has, in part, attempted to use his autism and dyslexia against him. Earlier this year, as part of these ongoing proceedings, Freshstream made a financial offer to Peter relating to one of the claims. The wider dispute remains unresolved, and the legal process is still ongoing.

Throughout this period, Peter has been clear that:

  • He has not sold his shares.
  • He remains actively involved in shaping the company’s future.
  • He will continue defending his position through the established legal framework.

Peter has also been open about his experiences with autism and dyslexia, sharing that these traits have shaped both his entrepreneurial career and leadership style. He has always been a strong advocate for greater understanding and representation of neurodiverse individuals in the workplace.

He stands as an example for anyone who may feel that autism is a barrier or who may be underestimated because of it, demonstrating that it is possible to succeed while staying true to oneself and standing up for what is right.

As the legal proceedings continue, further updates will be shared publicly when appropriate.

Peter thanks customers, staff, and supporters for their continued loyalty and trust.
