This action was not about unmet obligations—it was about removing me from a position they found inconvenient. I believe the drawdown demand was improperly issued, and we are actively challenging this through the proper legal channels. Having led a company of over 1,000 employees and £460M turnover, I’ve encountered many forms of pressure—this one is no different. I look forward to exposing the truth and ensuring fairness is upheld.

Peter Waddell, founder of Big Motoring World and Big Transport, has made a heartfelt donation of over 1,000 cuddly toys—valued at more than £5,000—to Pilgrims Hospices in Ashford, Canterbury, and Margate. The toys, originally stored in a warehouse on a site he owns in Folkestone, will be used to raise funds in hospice shops and events, serve as raffle prizes, or offer comfort to young visitors. Louise Newman from Pilgrims Hospices highlighted the meaningful impact the toys could have, especially for children navigating the emotional experience of visiting terminally ill loved ones.

Tycoon Peter Waddell Takes Legal Action Over €1.5M Investment Dispute
Peter Waddell is pursuing legal action against private equity firm Freshstream Investment Partners LLP, claiming the firm unfairly forfeited a €1.5 million investment linked to his car supermarket group. According to Waddell’s High Court filing, Freshstream issued an invalid funding demand and subsequently removed his holding company from the investment scheme in what is described as an “extreme” and unjustified move. The dispute follows a broader fallout between the parties after Waddell’s removal as director of Big Motoring World and raises questions about the PE firm’s conduct and regulatory compliance.
